So obviously this is a liberal biased source. However, let's forget about the source for a second.
Let's focus specifically on what she says. She claims that the VP is "in charge" of the Senate. When McCain called her up and asked her to be his VP, don't you think her first question should have been, "And what would that entail?" I mean, I like to sign up for jobs that I don't know what they do, as I think a lot of people do, but I don't think that we are heartbeat away from ruling on of the most powerful countries in the world.
And what is even more disturbing is that she fucked this up in her first debate with Biden - well, her only debate cause God knows that could not happen again. Shouldn't someone in the span of time between that and this have taken her aside and been like, "Hey, Sarah. Come here for a sec. So you know this position you are running for? Let's talk about what you would actually do if elected (and if McCain doesn't die in like the first day?)" I could have had that conversation with her. In fact, I think most kids that have passed 5th grade could have had that conversation with her and did a better job of explaining the position then she has in either of the times that it has come up.
Now, the right has been saying that Biden said the same thing in an interview. However, the difference between what Biden said and what Palin said is that Biden is referencing the lobbying that VP's do for the President's bills. I doubt that Palin even knows what lobbying is, so I highly doubt that she is referencing that. Biden, since he is, uh, a Senator, probably has a pretty good idea that the VP is not "in charge" of the Senate.
